13年間の素材研究を経て誕生した新しい生命体。

その間に制作した作品は約1000匹。

作品ごとに形は違っても、一貫して「ワクワク星人」という生命体の研究を続けてきました。

ワクワク星人とは、感情を増幅し、具現化した存在です。

勇気、好奇心、悲しみ、憧れ。

私たちの中に存在する様々な感情は、ときに独立した生命のように振る舞います。

私はそれらを自分の中で育て、観察し、形にしてきました。

PROJECT W-0001は、その長い研究の先に生まれた新たな観測記録です。

これまで布を中心に制作してきたワクワク星人たちが、新しい素材と新しい形態へと移行を始めました。

今回発表する「スーパーボク！」と「アンビシャスくん」は、PROJECT W-0001として記録される最初の生命体です。
これは完成ではなく、新しい大気圏への突入です。

A new life-form born from 13 years of material research.
Over this period, approximately 1,000 specimens have been created.
Although each one has taken a different form, they have all been part of an ongoing study of a life-form known as Wakuwaku Seijin.
Wakuwaku Seijin are embodiments of amplified emotions.
Courage, curiosity, sorrow, longing.
The many emotions that exist within us sometimes behave as if they were independent forms of life.
I have nurtured them within myself, observed them, and given them form.
PROJECT W-0001 is a new observation record born from the culmination of this long-term research.
The Wakuwaku Seijin, which have previously been created primarily through textile-based practices, are now beginning a transition into new materials and new forms.
The two life-forms presented in this release, “Super Boku!” and “Ambitious-kun,” are the first specimens to be recorded as PROJECT W-0001.
This is not a completion, but an entry into a new atmosphere.
Though we meet through a screen, I hope you will enjoy the world that is about to unfold and share a sense of wonder alongside the Wakuwaku Seijin.
