たとえ大切な存在との時間が終わったとしても、
その人と育んだ記憶は、
私たちの中で生き続けます。
記憶は、
過去に留まるものではありません。
今を支え、
少しずつ形を変えながら、
未来へと受け継がれていくものなのかもしれません。
長期記憶の番人様は、
今日も静かに、
その小さな生命を見守っています。

Observation

Its role is to quietly watch over the memories that are nurtured throughout a lifetime.
Moments of joy.
Words that gave us courage.
The precious time we shared with someone we love.
As Observation continues,
I find myself returning to the question of memory again and again.
My answer changes,
little by little,
every year.
But there is one thing I now believe with certainty.
Memory is a part of life itself.
Even when someone we deeply cherish is no longer with us,
the memories we shared with them continue to live within us.
Memory does not simply remain in the past.
It supports who we are today,
changing its shape little by little,
and continuing its journey into the future.
The Guardian of Long-Term Memories quietly watches over
that enduring life carried within memory.
